In The Price We Pay you can see and play as a male chick that was born just 24 hours ago. Since you are no more useful than a sack of meat (due to the fact that you don't lay eggs) you're put as soon as possible on a conveyor belt with only one direction available: death.
In this game your goal is to survive as long as possible without falling into the meat grinder.
This game was made as a project at Saxion University of Applied Sciences.

THIS IS WHAT REAL ART IS ABOUT, this game with its ingenous design made me realize how efficient our ECONOMY really is and how great it is that HUMANKIND has so much control in our world and it is able to provide this service to us and feed so many of us, sure we waste 1/3 of our food and could provide food to everyone in the world if we wanted just got to deal with logistics but the best thing is WE HAVE FREEDOM and don't have to, WE ARE FREE TO WASTE what is invaluable to others. Anyway THE MARKET MUST PREVAIL AND IT WILL CLEANSE ALL THAT IS NOT PURE.
